Golden Triangle with Nagaur Fair

For those short on time, or for those who want to see the highlights of Northern India this is the ideal journey. This famous Golden Triangle with Nagaur Fair journey is one of the most popular routes connecting Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Nagaur. A lot can be combined with this for any other journeys throughout India.


Arrive in New Delhi `the Capital City of India`, in the early hours and transfer to the Hotel for a morning at leisure.
Later visit the Old City which includes visit to Jama Masjid Mosque & rickshaw ride through Old Delhi`s teeming bazaars, drive past the impressive Red Fort and visit Rajghat `the site where Mahatma Gandhi (father of our nation) was cremated`.
Overnight is at hotel.


The morning`s sightseeing starts after breakfast and takes you into the leafy avenues of New Delhi, where you will drive along Raj path, past India Gate, Parliament House and the President`s residence. The tour includes visit to the Qutab Minar minaret and Unesco World Heritage Site `Humayun`s Tomb`.
Overnight is at the hotel.


After early morning breakfast, transfer by road to Agra (250 kms/3 hours). Catch a glimpse of the elegant Taj Mahal before you check into your hotel for a 2 night stay.

Day 4 – AGRA

Early morning visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast and later visit the impressive Red Fort. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the Hotel and its Spa.
Overnight is at the hotel.


After breakfast start the drive to Jaipur (250 kms / 5 hours) stopping en-route to visit the 16th century site `Fatehpur Sikri (optional)`. Check into your hotel for 3 nights.

Day 6 – JAIPUR

This morning visit Amber Fort to view its extravagantly decorated halls and chambers. Later enjoy an elephant safari outside Jaipur followed by lunch at a camp. Afternoon is free to explore the bustling bazaars or to enjoy the Hotel and Spa. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 7 – JAIPUR

This morning after breakfast we take half day City Tour, visiting the Architectural Marvels of this beautiful Pink city Jaipur. Later of the day is free to explore and shopping. Overnight is at the hotel.


After breakfast drive to sightseeing of Nagaur, one of the most pilgrimages in India . Nagaur Fair is Second largest cattle fair in Rajasthan after the Pushkar fair. The major sports held at the fair include tug-of-war, camel races, bullock races and cockfights. While jugglers; puppeteers, storytellers and campfire evenings make it a life time experience; feel the stillness of the desert sand amid the enchanting ambience created by the folk music of Jodhpur. Day 9 –  NAGAUR

After breakfast, Full day at the Nagaur Fair Tour. Built as `an explosion of fun, frolic, games and laughter`, the fair provides some wonderful photographic opportunities and is a rare change to see Rajasthani women decked out in all their traditional jewellery, dress and finery. It is worth getting up early to see the camels and tribes rousing themselves in the pink of the dawn desert light. Temple music wafts through the night, as the fires die down and the Rajasthani melodies played on the stringed ek-tara come to a close. Overnight at Camp.


This morning fly to Delhi to connect to International flight back home. Alternatively, you have an option to fly to Udaipur or perhaps drive to Sawai Madhopur from Jaipur in search of tiger.

Fly from Jaipur to Udaipur which is known as the `Venice of the East` whose location on the shores of Lake Pichola makes it one of the country`s most romantic places. Explore the City palace and Sahelion-ki-Bari (Gardens of maids) which is a fine example of the art of landscaping.


Travel to Sawai madhopur by road (3.5 hours) and stay in the world`s most luxurious tented accomodations. Enjoy game drives searching for tiger and other animals that inhabit this varied habitat. Travel back to Jaipur to take flight to Delhi and further interconnecting international flight back home.
